Our history
Our origins began in 1930, the year in which the former Diermeier company was founded as a traditional coal trading company in Straubing, Bavaria and continuously expanded in the post-war years. In 1960, the company entered the mineral oil trade. In 1968, the company became a Shell Direct partner until it became an Aral brand sales partner in 2009. In 2011, the classic mineral oil trading division was initially taken over into the newly founded Diermeier Energie GmbH, followed by the lubricants division later in the year. In 2016, the company was awarded “Castrol Ambassador” status, making it a “brand ambassador” for Aral and Castrol.
Having arrived in the present, we can proudly look back on more than 93 years of experience in the field of energy and lubricants. We use this experience in every product and every service. Smoothly to success. With Diermeier Energie.
Sustainability & environmental protection
We have been a climate-neutral company since 2018 and offset all of our CO₂ emissions by participating in environmental protection projects. We have a modern fleet of vehicles and design all processes to be as efficient and resource-saving as possible. Our new company building, which we moved into in 2020, is also geared towards sustainability and environmental protection. We have our own photovoltaic system with 380 kWp output and a 70 kW electricity storage unit. We also use energy-saving LED lighting and a fleet of electric vehicles, which is constantly being expanded.

With an average length of service of over 16 years, we have a large number of long-serving employees who have the relevant expertise and experience. In total, our workforce consists of
30 employees who are always up to date with the latest knowledge thanks to regular further training – e.g. product and hazardous substance training. As an IHK training company, we take care of our own competent junior staff and offer young, committed young, committed people with sound training as warehouse logistics specialists and wholesale and foreign trade management assistants.
